Too bad you've lost something

Fortunately, there's a good chance that we can help. 80% of lost items are recovered, often the same day!

Was your item already registered on

You don't have to do anything then, we'll let you know as soon as someone reports it. What you could do in the meantime:

  1. Log in and check your account if your email address and mobile number are still up to date.
  2. You can have your lost item published on the Internet, this way also search engines can find it. Just click the button in the right hand column of your item overview.

Has your item not been registered yet?

We try to make your life easy, most Spotty labels and key tags don't need to be registered as long as you haven't lost anything.

But now that your item is lost, it's time to register it. Maybe it has already been reported found by someone.

  1. Already have a Spotty account? Log in and go to step 2.
No account yet? Let us know where we can reach you on this page. Don't worry, the finder cannot see any of these details! But the Spotty automated email system needs to know where to send the information.
You'll receive an email with a confirmation link that you need to click. If you haven't received this within a few minutes, check your "spam" folder.
  2. Once registered, report your lost item on the following page, using the unique sticker or label code that you've written down when applying the label. Seconds after the finder reports your item, we'll send you an email and a text message explaining where you can retrieve it.

Optional: in your item overview you can press the button in the right hand column to publish a description of your item on the Internet.
